One reasons is that the price you had to paid for a bottle of perfume from a well known brand can be very expensive compare in making your own perfume. The other reasons is you can get the smell to your liking and besides how strong you want the perfume to stay in your skin.
The first steps of making your own perfume are to get things that you needs to make perfume. A pure bottle of vodka or brandy, Few bottles of different essentials oils, spring water, glass bottles, glass dropper and coffee filter.
Then learn the notes and it is break up of three kinds. The base notes where the scent stay very long in your skin and the smell is much stronger. Most people used sandalwood, cedarwoods, cinnamon and patchouli. The middle notes which the smell stays about an hour in your skin. Most recommand middle notes are nutmeg, geranium, lemongrass and ylang-ylang. The top notes and is the first scent when you first apply the perfume to the skin. Citrus and Flower scent such as rose, Lavender or jessmine are used.
Grind or ground the ingredient which you want to make your perfume. Add the amount of vodka or brandy to the mixture, the essential oils and the water into a bottle and stopper it. Shake the bottle well for several minutes and times and leave it in a dark place.
Smell the perfume first and if the smell is to desire then pour it through the coffee filter to a perfume bottle.

Coffee filter to pure in the perfume when is ready so that the sediment won;t get through.

The second notes known as the middle notes are from lemon grass or ylang ylang but the smell won't be as strong as the base notes. Last the top notes which the smile are lighter and will last only few hours in the skin are of flower such as jasmine, rose, orchids or lavender.
Add a drops or two of essentials oils about half bottle of vodka and spring water and the notes in a sterilized bottle and left it for three to four days. Place the bottle away from the direct sun or hot place.
shake or stir the bottle well. If you find the smell to stronger add spring water to it to dilute the smell. After you had satified the smell pour it through the coffee filter and into a clean and pretty bottle. Now your perfume is ready to be used.

Buying from them you had to be satisfied with the same fragrance and to make your own, you can have the smell stronger or lighter by adding more or less of the the notes.

vodka, water and the essentials oils and left it for two to four weeks in a tight close bottle away from sunlight. Shake the bottle very well each days until you get the fragrance smell to your liking. If the smell is not right, shake it again and left it for more few days. Last fitter it with a
cloth coffee fitter into a nice dry bottle.

First time making my own perfume
When I started to learn from my aunty how to make my own perfume, its takes me few months to understand the ways to
make your own perfume. The most important is to know the basic steps.

Cook the ingrident with pure water and then add vodka or brandy to it, left to cool down and then left it in a tight bottle for few days. Shake the bottle everydays to get the balance smell. When everythings is finish, smell the make perfume to your liking and if you find the smell is still not that strong, left it again for another few days to get to your liking. Lastly fitter it with coffee cloth fitter into a nice perfume bottle.

Recently I met an old friends of mine who is selling his own make perfume at a night market. His business was not bad with most of his regular customber and new customber. The price he his selling his perfume are very much cheaper compare to branded brand but the smell of his
perfume are the same smell of the branded brand. I spend two hours talking to him about how to make your own perfume.

Fitter the mixture fron a cloth coffee fitters so that the tiny leaves will never go through to a glass bottle or a porcelyn jars and shake it well. Then add the essentails oils to it, shake it again and leave it for a weeks to ten days. Test the smell first. After the ten days, open it and smell again, if you like the smell then you had already completed

Lavender or rosemary smell nice for making perfume
Things you must learned to make a good perfume. To
make your own perfume is much to your personal preference smell, how you like the smell to be and how long do you want it to stay in your skin. The most commom and smell nice is from Lavender or rosemary. All you needs is a vodka or brandy 100% pure, esseence oil and spring water.
First put the lavender or rosemary or any kinds of roses that smell nice to you in a pot and then grind it with motar or pestle and then add some of the spring water to it, shake it well. Follow by adding some vodka or brandy to it and shake it again for a numbers of time, then add in the essence oil and then shake it again.
Strain the mixture to get rid of the leaves in a coffee cloth fitter or a piece of fine cloth. Always remmember to smell and test the perfume first. Leave the pot in a dark place for a week. Shake the pot every one or two days to get the smell that you want and then pour it into a nice and beautiful bottle that you are using daily.

When you walk around department store in a mall or in supermarket you will notice alots of well known stall selling branded perfume and the price for a small bottle is not cheap, it will cost you a few hundreds for a small bottle. You can save the buying as a bottle of perfume won't cause you much if you know how to make your own perfume because the cause of perfume had already added with the rented charges, labour cost and lastly the profits.
Making your own perfume you needs a concentrate of essential oils, 100 percent of pure vodka or brandy and distilled or spring water to make perfume. First added your
concentrate essential oils with the pure vodka then stirr it slowly until the essential oil is disperse and let this mixture stand for more tneb 45 hours then add the spring water about three tablespoon to the early mixture and then slowly stirr again.
Let the mixture to stand about 5 weeks time to the strong perfume smell, if you find the smell is too strong you can add with water to the smell you want if to be. After the perfume is mature pour it through the coffee fitter so that the sediment does not get through. Most of the perfume formula is a mixture of 15 to 25 percentage of essential oils, 5 percent of distill water and 70 to 80 percent of pure vodka. Then store in glass bottle and away from hot sun.
